I/we am/are a participant/parent of a participant in the Darrel Chapman Fun Run in Lismore (“the event”).


I/we acknowledge and understand that: There is a risk of injury when participating in the event; and accept that injury and or death may result not only from my actions (including physical exertion) but also from the actions, omissions or negligence of other people participating in or connected with the event.

I/we accept full responsibility for informing myself and assessing the dangers, hazards and risks of entry in the event. I/we also declare that I have undertaken appropriate training for the event and that I am not aware of any illness, injury, physical disability or impairment which may cause me injury or death during or as a consequence of participation in the event.

I/we acknowledge Hazards, risks and dangers of the event may include: personal injury, slippery and uneven surfaces, breakages or defects on the event site, over exertion, dehydration, accidents with other participants and third parties, spectators and weather conditions.

Safety precautions undertaken by the organisers of this event are a service to me and other competitors but are not a guarantee of safety.

The decision to participate in the event is entirely my own and I/we accept all the risks associated with participation in the event, including loss of life and, or any injury.

In consideration of acceptance of my entry in the event, I/we agree on my behalf and on behalf of my heirs, executors and administrators and declare that, to the extent permitted by law, hereby waive, release, discharge and indemnify, Our Kids, the event organisers, volunteers and any person or party involved or engaged in promoting, staging, administering, running or controlling the event from and against all and every claim, right or cause of action (including for negligence and breach of contract) which I/we might have or which may arise out of my death and/or injury and/or damage or loss of any description which I/we may suffer.

This release, waiver and discharge may be pleaded as a bar to any action, claim, demand or legal proceedings.


I consent to receiving any first aid and medical treatment which may be deemed advisable in the event of accident, injury and/or illness as a result of my involvement in the event.


I/we give permission for the free use of my/our name, voice or picture in any broadcast, telecast, advertising promotion or other account of this event. I/we agree that no liability of any kind will be attached to any person or party involved with the organisation of this event.


I acknowledge that I have read and understood all of the conditions of entry and agree to abide by the conditions of the event as stated in this declaration.

Picking up Bibs


Lismore Masters Half Marathon & Lord Taverners 10km

The 10km and 21km are timed therefore, all competitors will have Bibs and timing chips to wear.

Bibs must be worn at all times during the race.

These can be picked up before the race on Sunday 25 August from 6.15 am - the Fun Run Registration Area, which will be in front of The Richmond Hotel

Drop off zone for competitors on race day is the Clyde Campbell Car Park.


Our Kids 4km walk/run

As a participant of the Our Kids 4km walk/run you will need to register either online or on the day. A Bib will be given to you from the Registration Area, which is in in front of The Richmond Hotel. These need to be worn during the event.

The 4km is not a timed event, however 1st, 2nd and 3rd places will be awarded.

The Bibs can be picked up before the event on Sunday 25 August from 7.15 am - the fun Run Registration Area, which will be in frony of the Richmond Hotel.

Drop off zone for competitors on race day is the Clyde Campbell Car Park.

Starting Times and Water Stations

The Masters Half Marathon and the Lord's Taverners 10km will start at 7.00 am.

The Our Kids 4km Run/walk will start at 8.30 am.

All competitors must be identifiable by their Bibs ,which can be picked up from the registration area in Woodlark St, in front of the Richmond Hotel from 6.15 am.

If you leave the course prior to the finishing line please hand your bib to your nearest marshal.

Presentations will commence at 9.45am in front of the Richmond Hotel.

  • 4.4km  Junction of Cusack & Woodlawn Rd
  • 5.8km  Savins Rd
  • 8.2km  Cnr Woodlawn & Numulgi Rd - Railway Bridge
  • 10.2km Halls Country Cottages Driveway
  • 11.6km Turnaround point on Numulgi Rd


Cut off times

The DCFR Cut Off Policy for all races are as follows:

It is important to note it remains the participant’s responsibility to ensure they finish within the official cut-off time.

Based on the Traffic Management Plan the cut off for the course is 11.00 am. If you are still on the course at 11.00 am you will be collected by the Event Vehicle.
